Hello,

According to the spec the Bluetooth must be present but I can't locate it anywhere including the device manager!

from the spec

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15-bs000-laptop-pc/15551412/model/17504979/document/c0558572...

Wireless connectivity  Intel® 802.11b/g/n/ac (1x1) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo

But in the device manager it is absent:dev_man.jpg

Just in case, the hardware configuration report from Speccy -

Can you help me find it please or I should buy a BT-adapter?

Thanks!

Hi:

The Intel 3168 wifi adapter can't work with W7 unless you remove it and mask a couple of contacts.

I'm surprised the wifi still works.  Usually that doesn't work either.

So, you can either purchase an external USB BT adapter, or you can see if the same procedure for the Realtek wifi card works on the Intel one.  I don't know what pins you mask on the Intel card to get the BT to work.

...Or you can install W10, where the wifi and Bluetooth will both work just fine.
