Hi @Playce
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thank you for sharing the details. I understand that the Bluetooth connection on your HP Victus 15-fb0000 is working temporarily after a restart but disconnects again within a few minutes, even after reinstalling drivers, running Windows repair, and resetting the laptop.
Based on the troubleshooting already completed, let's focus on the Bluetooth adapter and power management settings:
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand Bluetooth and open your Bluetooth adapter properties.
- Select the Power Management tab.
- Clear the checkbox for Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
- Click OK and restart the notebook.
Next:
- Open Settings > System > Power & Battery.
- Select Power Mode and set it to Best Performance.
- Under Additional Power Settings, ensure wireless and power-saving options are not configured to aggressively save power.
Also, update the chipset and wireless drivers for your HP Victus using HP Support:
- Go to the HP driver page for your device.
- Install the latest:
- BIOS update
- AMD Chipset driver
- Wireless LAN driver
- Bluetooth driver
- Restart the system after each installation if prompted.
If the issue continues, run the HP Hardware Diagnostics:
- Turn off the notebook.
- Press the Power button and immediately tap Esc repeatedly.
- Press F2 for HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
- Run the Component Tests > Wireless Module test.
If the wireless module test reports a failure or Bluetooth continues disconnecting after completing the steps above, please share:
- The Bluetooth adapter name shown in Device Manager
- Whether Wi‑Fi remains stable when Bluetooth disconnects
- The result of the HP Wireless Module test
This information will help identify whether the behavior is related to power management, drivers, BIOS, or the wireless hardware itself.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
