My Microsoft bluetooth mouse lost connection and after repeated attempts to fix it I got a new one. It wouldn't pair on my laptop but immediately connected on another. The problem is therefore in my laptop.

I updated all drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled Bluetooth, checked OS and BIOS are up to date and ran all software and hardware tests. All passed except HP Bios Update and Recovery Test which generated the message INTEL ACTIVE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY FIRMWARE - CRITICAL SECURITY VULNERABILITY - UPDATE FIRMWARE.

1. I don't know if the Intel issue has any connection with BLUETOOTH MOUSE FAILED TO PAIR, which is the main issue I want to deal with here.

2.  I don't know how to update Intel firmware and would like advice as to how to do it.

Many thanks.
