Pavilion 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion 15 or e015tx, I can't even find my Ralink Bluetooth is my laptop. I am a tech guy so I have tried most of the things, uninstalling drivers and installing them again, resetting the Bios, updating it.
The laptop was originally in win 8, after updating to win 10, the Bluetooth was gone after 2 months of working. My wifi is working fine, If anyone can help me, it would be great !!

Also, the Bluetooth is also not showing in my ubuntu(as dual boot).

Thanks !

Hi:

That is a very common issue with that model bluetooth adapter.  It completely disappears in W10 and there is no fix.

I'm surprised the wifi is still working.  That usually disappears too.

Why it is not there in Ubuntu, that I do not know.

If this is the model notebook you have...

...What I would do is to take this opportunity to replace/upgrade the Ralink wifi card to this model.

You should be able to find this model card on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.
