Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I purchased the laptop the operating system was Windows 8 and bluetooth was working fine.

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 a few months ago I have been unable to turn Bluetooth on.

I tired updating the drivers, deleting and redownloading, all to no avail.

I ran a troubleshoot and the report says that there is a problem with the Bluetooth stereo driver. Issues not present with 'Windows update configured to never install drivers' and 'Hardware changes migth not have been detected'.

where is bluetooth.jpg

Settings > devices: bluetooth doesn't even show up. Please help, thanks in advance

Hi:

According to the product specs for your notebook, it does not come with built in bluetooth networking.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-15-n200-notebook-pc-series/6529948/model/6705884/do...

If it did, then that feature would have been listed along with the 802.11b/g/n (1x1) wireless connectivity specification.

If you let me know what model wireless network adapter your notebook comes with, I will confirm that the specs are correct.

Hi,

How do I find where it is? Thanks so much for the help.

You're very welcome.

Go to the device manager and click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category.

There you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.
