HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0043ne

I own an HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0043ne. Ever since I bought the laptop, the Bluetooth keeps stuttering with all devices. Whenever I try to listen to audio using Bluetooth, be it on my speaker or headphones, the audio starts stuttering. My speakers and headphones work perfectly using my phone so there is some issue with the Bluetooth in the laptop. I even tried multiple devices but I was facing the same stuttering in all of them. I went to device manager and tried updating the drivers but that did not help. Please provide me some solution. I tried to look online for drivers but I could not find which one I would need to download and how to uninstall the current one and install a new one. Please provide me the steps as well.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting issues with Bluetooth on your notebook, I am glad to assist you.

Update the Bios, chipset, and drivers using HP Support Assistant.

Download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: Click here

  • HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
  • Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  • Click Updates in the My notebook pane
  • Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  • Updates list in HP Support Center
  • Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  • Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  • Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also, ensure Windows is up to date.

  • Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Let me know how it goes.

Hey, thank you for your reply. The link that you have shared shows a 404 page can't be reached error. However, I do have the HP support assistant already installed. I ran the diagnostic test and it said that there is a bios update. I have performed the update, but the problem still persists. I also want to highlight that even the wifi on my device seems to be working slow and I read somewhere that Bluetooth and wifi work using the same hardware component, so just wanted to point that out. For my wifi, I am using an external wifi adapter.

Uninstall the Bluetooth device, and then pair it

  • If you cannot pair your computer with a Bluetooth device, you need to uninstall the Bluetooth device, restart the computer, and then try to pair the device.
  • The Bluetooth driver for your device might be in an error state or corrupted. Uninstall the device using Device Manager, and then pair it to the computer to reinstall the driver.
  • Open Device Manager, and then click the arrow next to Bluetooth to view the currently installed devices.
  • Clicking enable device for the bluetooth card
  • In Device Manager, right-click the device you are trying to pair, and then click Uninstall device.
  • On the confirmation screen, click Uninstall. The device is removed from the list.
  • Restart the computer to reset any wireless connections.
  • Try to pair.

Hi, Nothing seemed to work. Instead, I bought an external Bluetooth adapter and set that up. The external Bluetooth adapter works fine.
