Hello Every one.

I have a laptop hp pavilion 15 notebook pc (Model:15-e014tx)with Windows 10 installed. Bluetooth used to work fine on it a long time ago. But it hasn't worked on it for almost 4 years. I just installed Windows 10. At first, when I first installed Windows, the Bluetooth driver was fine and I connected my headphones to it. But after updating the drivers, I couldn't use it anymore. When I go to Device Manager and see the Bluetooth driver, I get error 39. I had this error before in Windows 7 and 8.1. I updated the drivers with the Obit Drive program and downloaded the latest updates through the settings. But it didn't work.

Thnak you

Hi:

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Ralink RT3290LE 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 combination adapter.

There is no fix to get the Ralink Bluetooth to work on the later builds of W10 and it won't work on W11.

You can:

Purchase and use a USB Bluetooth adapter

Replace/upgrade the Ralink Wi-Fi adapter with this model:

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo   HP part # 724935-001

For what it is worth, below is the link to the W10 Ralink BT driver.  It will be of no use to you:

MediaTek (Ralink) Bluetooth Software Driver

11.0.761.0

sp71572.exe
