Hi @absofflabs,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To resolve the Bluetooth issue on your HP Laptop PC 15, here are several troubleshooting steps you can try.

Restart Bluetooth Services

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to Bluetooth Support Service.
  • Right-click and choose Restart. If the service isn’t running, right-click and choose Start.
  • Set Startup type to Automatic by right-clicking the service, selecting Properties, and changing the setting.

Update/Reinstall Bluetooth Drivers

  • Open Device Manager (Windows + X → Device Manager).
  • Expand the Bluetooth section.
  • Right-click your Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
  • If updating doesn't work, uninstall the Bluetooth driver by right-clicking and selecting Uninstall.
  • Restart your laptop, and Windows should automatically reinstall the Bluetooth driver.

Check for Windows Updates

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Click Check for updates and install any available updates.

Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter

  • Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Select Bluetooth, and click Run the troubleshooter.

Reset Bluetooth Configuration

  • Press Windows + R, type devmgmt.msc, and press Enter.
  • In Device Manager, expand Bluetooth.
  • Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and choose Disable.
  • Wait for a few seconds, then right-click again and select Enable.

Check Bluetooth Radio Status in BIOS

  • Restart your laptop and press Esc or F10 to enter the BIOS.
  • Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled in the System Configuration.

Try Pairing in Safe Mode

  • Boot into Safe Mode (hold Shift while restarting and select Safe Mode with Networking).
  • Try pairing the device in Safe Mode to rule out third-party software interference.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
