Windows 7 64-bit
Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n
Windows 7 fresh install
I have installed HP quicklaunch driver, When I turn on wifi on f12 key, the button is still orange, not white.
I have tried all the tricks on the internet
And this model does not have wireless assistant to turn the wifi on digitally.
The bluetooth driver does not detect the bluetooth adapter. The adapter is listed as an unknown device

Hi:
For your model you can use the HP Connection Manager software, which superceded the HP Wireless Assistant software.
This package provides the HP Connection Manager for the supportednotebook models and operating systems.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp54501-55000/sp54945.exe
If there is an unknown device listed, it is not the bluetooth adapter.
The unknown device probably needs this driver...
This will install HP 3D DriveGuard, which provides protection for a notebook computer's internal disk drive if the computer is accidentally dropped or abruptly hits another object. This package is available on supported notebooks with supported operating systems.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp57001-57500/sp57232.exe
If your notebook has the broadcom wifi card, then you need these wireless and bluetooth drivers...
This package contains drivers for the supported Broadcom Wireless LAN Adapters in the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp57501-58000/sp57965.exe
This package contains the Broadcom Bluetooth driver and software for supported models that are running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Driver is required to enable Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 devices and is compatible with Broadcom Bluetooth 3.0 and earlier versions.

On both Windows 8.1 and windows 7.
I'll update you on the sp61617.
Let's hope this connection manage supports my model and you say it does.

The connection manager has the option to 'Power on when launching HP Connection Manager' under Preferences>Device Power
Upon checking both the WiFi and Bluetooth>Okay>Exit Hp Connection Manager
And launching it again, the Bluetooth driver was installed and the F12 key turned from Orange to White. And both wireless devices were both upon up and running.
Thankyou for your assistance.

You're very welcome.
I don't work for, or represent HP.
You can contact the HP executive team at the link below and ask that they provide that HP connection manager service pack number to the support page for your notebook.
