Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can someone PLEASE give me SPECIFIC instructions on how to resurrect my Broadcom wireless adapter 4313GN that seems to have DISAPPEARED from the face of the earth? At one time it showed up as a hidden device in Device Manager but has now disappeared completely. It gives an error 45. I have not tried to reset my BIOS in WIndows 10 64 bit because I have heard horror stories of folks that did this not being able to bring up Windows anymore.....I have tried downloading purported drivers into the driver repository in /Windows/system32/Driverstore/FileRepository and run the .exe file but it goes through the appearance of  executing the installation - even brings up an installation genie - but it just ends and does nothing. This has been an entirely frustrating experience for me. PLease send me a link to something that will actually download and install the correct drivers so I can get my wireless functionality back!
