It requires an available USB port to plug a receiver, it should automatically connect. Do you have it USB receiver ?

Regards.

Thanks for responding to my technical issue. I do have the receiver plugged in in to the usb port. The new keyboard connected on its own. My windows 10 o/s notified me that the keyboard & mouse are both connected. Still, the mouse is not working. I have changed the batteries in the mouse.

Why is there a tiny blue button under the mouse that says connect? Can you connect the  mouse manually using this button. How? When I have tried,  The red light under the mouse seems to blink real fast before it begins to blink slower.  But the mouse still doesn't connect.
