Hi, Francesco:
I do not believe that the Intel 3168 AC card will work in your notebook for two reasons:
1. The model series is very particular about what model Wi-Fi cards you can install...those listed in chapter 3 of the service manual and this one, for some reason works, based on feedback from other forum members.
HP Notebook PC (Intel)HP 250 G4 Notebook PCHP 256 G4 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.
Both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work with a single antenna wire. There is only one antenna connector on the card.
2. Your notebook only has one Wi-Fi antenna wire and the Intel 3168 needs two antenna wires in order for the Bluetooth to have reception.
