In this case, there happens to be an HP Part number dual band card which will work whether or not here is a whitelist:

Here are the links to the latest W10 Wifi and Bluetooth drivers you will need for that model wlan card.
This will save you some time trying to figure out what drivers you need if W10 doesn't install them straight away, or if you want to install the latest drivers, even if W10 does install them.
Wireless:
This package provides the Broadcom Wireless LAN drivers for supported notebook models running a supported operating system. Broadcom Wireless LAN drivers are required to enable the integrated Broadcom Wireless LAN adapter.

Got the new card in and loaded the drivers you provided the links for and everything is working great. I had copied my router settings from the 2.4 version over to a new 5.0 version in the router. When I booted Win 10, it noticed the new 5 ghz network immediately. With that and the 801ac, I'm seeing about a 35% increase in download speeds. Thank you for all your advice. It was invaluable.
