Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I have a new HP Probook, Windows 10.

I can't seem to connect it to my smart TV. I know the TV side is OK as I can connect my old Dell laptop without any issue. However, when I try in exactly the same way on my HP, it won't connect. 
It finds the TV device Ok. I click to connect and it says 'Connecting'. Then, after a minute or so a window pops up on my HP machine stating: 'Something went wrong. Your device couldn't connect'.

Anyone any ideas?
