I received a new modem from my internet provider
-All devices in my household connect to the new modem and internet just fine. This includes iOS devices, windows computer for worm, Amazon, Roku, etc,
-I’m unable to find my WiFi service. The only box I see is for the Airplane Mode on/off.
-Troubleshoot internet connection gives me the message “there might be a problem with the driver for the Wi-Fi adapter”
-I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the adapter
-Other trouble shooting and checking settings show that the driver is “working properly” and that I have the best/most current driver installed on my machine
-I followed the trouble shooting YouTube video from HP support and it didn’t help
-I’ve tried using an Ethernet cable and it shows that I’m “connected” but I can’t actually browse the internet or do anything.
-I’ve been able to successfully connect and browse a couple of times over the past few months using my vpn with the ethernet cable but the connection usually times out.
-I have Microsoft Windows 10 home, driver says it’s Intel dual wireless AC 7265
-I’ve tried restarting/rebooting and restarting my internet gateway through my provider countless times
-I want to be able to find my available WiFi network and connect to the internet.
Thank you
