All of the sudden my Bose headset will not register any output sound when using video conferencing platforms. It was working fine last week and now I can only hear through my headset when connected and in a meeting. I have to use my HP laptop's microphone which is very sensitive.
Anyone else have output issues with headsets while connected ro Zoom or Teams?

@KPMolino, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
That sounds frustrating! Since your Bose headset was working fine last week but now only the microphone isn't registering, let’s go through a few things:
Is the headset set as the default input device?
Go to Sound Settings in Windows and check under Input to see if your Bose headset is selected.
Does the issue happen across all apps?
If Zoom and Teams aren't picking up sound, try a basic voice recorder app to see if the mic works there.
Check Zoom/Teams Settings:
In Zoom/Teams, go to Audio Settings and manually select your Bose headset as the microphone.
Bluetooth or Wired?
If it’s Bluetooth, try disconnecting and reconnecting or testing with a different device.
If using a USB dongle, try a different port.
Driver Updates:
In Device Manager, find your headset under Audio Inputs and Outputs, right-click, and select Update driver.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
