HP 15-db0209ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,
I have bought a new laptop HP 15-db0209ur.

I installed the clean windows 10 and drivers from the HP support center. When I try to connect to any Wi-Fi network I see that changed an icon of networking (turn off the wireless device) and connection failed

I tested wireless network through the HP hardware diagnostics and this in a log

Selected interface: Беспроводная сеть, Authentication method: WPA2PSK, SSID: MGTS_GPON_0329, Source: ACM, NotificationCode: ConnectionStart, Reason: Success, Source: MSM, NotificationCode: Associating, Reason: Success, Source: MSM, NotificationCode: Disconnected, Reason: Success, Source: ACM, NotificationCode: ConnectionAttemptFail, Reason: Invalid Authentication, Source: ACM, NotificationCode: ConnectionComplete, Reason: Success

I tried different Wi-Fi networks, and I can connect to these networks with another laptop and my phone
I checked the password and password is correct

But sometimes it works ok, just after 10-20 tried connection successful

@reutova-m

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community.

I reviewed the case regarding issues with the computer.

I will be delighted to assist you here.

Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped others: Click here
I have a few steps to resolve the issue:

  • Since you've already reinstalled drivers, I would recommend using an Ethernet cable (Wired) and update your Wi-Fi drivers using this link

  • Update the bios by visiting this link or through support assistant using an Ethernet cable.

  • Now try to connect to the internet wireless.

The best way to do that is using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:

Click here to access it (simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern)

Keep me posted. 🙂
