Product: Elitebook 840G3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a valid simcard in my ELitebook 840 G3, but now the ICON that was available in the bottom RH side of the screen is missing completely !

I have WIFI-AIRPLANE MODE-HOTSPOT-(NO CELLULAR)

 

I have been on the forums and downloaded the software for this device, 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78501-79000/sp78749.exe

 

Installed this, and run it, but I get nowhere, I wun diagnostics on the Cellular Connection in the network settings and it comes up with ... The Mobile BRoadband Service is not running" and it cannot fix it. (not can I, not can my IT friends !!

 

ANY help would be very appreciated.... (it was working a month or so ago, I have had an HDD Clone upgrade, but this is a copy of the old HDD).

emiru may have a solution for you, look at the message 24 in the long chain.

People are using their precious remaining lifetime to try and help, so it is common courtesy to come back and tell what the solution eventually was even if you found it elsewhere. It is for the benefit of everyone.

Whem am insert the sim. Laptop not show any notifications. How to use sim card in hp840g3. Plzz explain, emergency
