HP Laptop PC 15-dw3000 (1A3Y5AV)

Hello,

I have Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter and I am wondering if I can change it with an Intel card but I do not know which one I should upgrade to. Could anyone help me about that please?

Also, if I change the card, Bluetooth model will change too?

Hi:

Your notebook only has one Wi-Fi antenna wire connected to the Realtek RTL8821CE Wi-Fi adapter.

An Intel Wi-Fi card needs two antenna wires in order for both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to work properly.

So, unless you are willing to find and buy the dual antenna kit listed in chapter 3 of the service manual and completely dissemble the notebook including the display panel area to properly install a second antenna, I would not recommend changing the card.

If you want to go through all of that trouble, this would be a card that might work.
