Choosing the right replacement WiFi card

HP Recommended
HP Envy 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to replace my Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 WiFi card to one that has the capability to connect to the 5 Ghz portion of my Xfinity router so that I can have the full Gig speed that I'm paying for. Ive read that HP whitelists alot of cards that could let me update my current one, so I want to know the right one to buy. Thanks in advance.

Hi:

Before I can answer your question, I would need to know the exact model number or product number of your notebook.

Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.

Hi:

The discussion at the link below would be exactly the same for your notebook...read through it and see the card that I recommended worked.
