HP Chromebook - 14a-na0503sa
Chrome OS

Bought chromebook today. When trying to set it up, chromebook claims that 'network not available' despite connection to internet working. It will only allow us to continue as a guest. We have tried various solutions offered by people facing the same issue 8 months ago but nothing is working: autest reveals nothing, there is no update to do, using a hot spot from a mobile hasn't worked, using an ethernet hasn't worked. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated, as we cannot talk to anyone at HP due to a technical issue when accessing warrenty. Thanks.

Hello Nick363,

do you have a private WiFi access point (at home)? Then you need to allow the new Chromebook device to access the Internet.

The error message with the "Guest access" indicates this.

Please check the router settings.

Please report your results.

best regards
