I've been experiencing this problem for quite a while and it never works for my laptop. Everytime when I connect the Cisco Anyconnect to VPN, the wifi connection is disabled immediately and there's no Internet connection at all, but the Cisco is still showing connecting. But when I disconnect the Cisco, the wifi connects back immediately.
If it's due to the HP LAN/WAN switching function, the problem is I use Windows 10 home version so I don't find the Advanced tab in the BIOS. I don't know how to disable this function. Can anyone help me to solve this annoying problem?
Both Cisco anyconnect and Intel Dual Band Adapter are up to date.
thanks a lot!

Further questions:
1) I noticed some Gaming Notebook doesn't have the feature of LAN/WLAN switching. Does my notebook have this? I cannot find Advanced tab in BIOS and I cannot find any LAWLANSwitching.exe in processes. Is this the main reason that I should consider?
2) According to some former solutions, I followed the three methods mentioned in the following page (change the iftype in regedit, or disable the minimise-connection in group policy, or change the minimise-connection value in group policy to be 0). Neither of them works.
3) I also changed the network priority in the Network Adapter settings, but it also doesn't.
It's really frustrating for me to perform further more... Can anyone help me with it?
My system is Windows 10 20H2.
