Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

While on vacation last week, I was unable to get my notebook to connect to the hotel wifi. The hotel wifi showed up as an available network when I clicked on the wifi icon on the task bar, but wouldn't connect. When I opened the network settings the hotel wifi did not appear. I tried to manually add the wifi but it still would not connect. It should have taken me to a landing page to put in the username and password provided by the hotel as it did with my phone. I'll be taking the notebook to a conference next week and really need it to connect to the wifi at the hotel. Any suggestions?

I had a similiar problem about a year ago at a hotel. Turned out that I had to manually go to the landing page to enter user/password. If you run into that at another hotel ask about url to the landing page.

Thanks for the info! I'll do that if it happens again, but I hope it doesn't. Sure was a pain not to be able to get any work done.
