Need to reset wi-fi beaconing. No idea how to do that.

Just to make sure we guide you correctly, are you asking about an HP printer or an HP PC/laptop? You mentioned wireless connection and resetting Wi‑Fi beaconing, so we want to confirm which HP product you’re trying to connect to your MacBook. 

If it is an HP printer, please share:

  • The printer model number.
  • Whether you are using Wi‑Fi or USB.
  • What exactly is happening now, for example: not showing up on the MacBook, not connecting to Wi‑Fi, or showing an error light.
  • Whether you have already tried a network reset on the printer.
     

If it is an HP PC/laptop, please tell us:

  • The product model.
  • Your macOS version.
  • What do you mean by “reset Wi‑Fi beaconing,” so we can confirm the right wireless setting? 

Once you reply with those details, we can walk you through the right steps for your HP device.
