I have windows 10 hp laptop that’s suddenly wont connect to the internet. It’s says the wifi is secured and connected but the apps aren’t loading. It’s not a wifi issue since other devices that I have are working perfectly fine under the same WiFi. The model of laptop is mode 14-dq0760dx. Anybody know how to fix it??

Hi @roksakure

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how unsettling it feels when the laptop shows “Wi‑Fi secured and connected” but nothing loads, especially since your other devices are working fine on the same network.

Let’s go step by step to get your HP 14‑dq0760dx back online.

Step 1: Restart the Network Connection

  1. Click the Wi‑Fi icon in the taskbar.
  2. Disconnect from your network and reconnect after a few seconds.
  3. If prompted, re‑enter the Wi‑Fi password.

Step 2: Run Diagnose & Fix in HP App

  1. Open the HP App from the Start menu.
  2. Select Support.
  3. Choose Diagnose & Fix.
  4. Run the scan—it will check for connectivity issues and guide you with corrections.

Step 3: Reset the Network Adapter

  1. Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Network adapters.
  3. Right‑click your wireless adapter (Intel or Realtek, depending on your model) and select Disable device.
  4. Wait a few seconds, then right‑click again and select Enable device.

Step 4: Flush and Renew IP Settings

  1. Press Windows + R, type cmd, and press Enter.
  2. In the Command Prompt, type the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each:
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns
  3. Close the window and test your connection.

Step 5: Update Wireless Drivers

  1. Visit the HP Software and Driver Downloads page:
    HP Software and Driver Downloads
  2. Enter your model number 14‑dq0760dx.
  3. Download and install the latest Wireless LAN driver for Windows 10.
  4. Restart the laptop after installation.

Step 6: Windows Network Troubleshooter

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet.
  2. Scroll down and select Network troubleshooter.
  3. Follow the on‑screen instructions to detect and fix issues.

After these steps, your laptop should be able to connect and load apps smoothly again. Once the driver and settings are refreshed, you’ll feel the relief of seeing pages and apps spring back to life.
