I have windows 10 hp laptop that’s suddenly wont connect to the internet. It’s says the wifi is secured and connected but the apps aren’t loading. It’s not a wifi issue since other devices that I have are working perfectly fine under the same WiFi. The model of laptop is mode 14-dq0760dx. Anybody know how to fix it??

Hi @prigowasu,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Laptop 14-dq0760dx (Windows 10) shows that Wi-Fi is connected and secured, but apps and websites are not loading, while other devices work fine on the same network. Let’s go through a few steps to narrow this down.

Restart the laptop and power cycle the router
Shut down the laptop completely and restart it.
Also restart the Wi-Fi router to refresh the network session.

Check date and time settings
Incorrect date or time can block secure connections.
Right-click the clock > Adjust date/time > turn on automatic time and time zone.

Disable and re-enable the Wi-Fi adapter
Press Windows + X > Network Connections > Change adapter options.
Right-click the Wi-Fi adapter, disable it, wait 10 seconds, then enable it again.

Run the Windows Network Troubleshooter
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network troubleshooter.
Apply any fixes that Windows recommends.

Reset the network stack
Open Command Prompt as administrator and reset the network components.
Restart the laptop after the reset completes.

Check proxy and VPN settings
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy.
Make sure “Use a proxy server” is turned off unless you intentionally use one.
If a VPN is installed, disable or uninstall it temporarily and test again.

Update or reinstall the wireless driver
Press Windows + X > Device Manager > Network adapters.
Right-click the wireless adapter, uninstall the device, restart the laptop, and allow Windows to reinstall the driver.
Then install the latest Wi-Fi driver for your model from the HP website.

Temporarily disable third-party antivirus or firewall
Security software can sometimes block network traffic.
Disable it briefly and test internet access, then re-enable it.

Test with a different network
Connect the laptop to a mobile hotspot.
If it works there, the issue is related to how this laptop is communicating with your current router.

If the laptop connects but still cannot load anything even on another network, it usually points to a driver, proxy, or Windows network configuration issue rather than a hardware failure.

I hope this helps.
