Hi @Valinda1,

When the printer says it's configured but can't connect, it usually has an old password or is trying a band/network it can't join.

Option 1 – Start the Wi-Fi setup again

  1. Restore the printer's Wi-Fi setup mode using the steps for your Color LaserJet Pro 3301 in this HP document: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3967769-3956733-16
  2. Open the HP app (https://123.hp.com) > Add printer and follow the steps, on the same network as your phone/PC.

Option 2 – Check the router

  1. The printer needs a 2.4 GHz or compatible network with WPA2. If your router combines 2.4/5 GHz under one name, do the setup close to the router.
  2. Make sure the router doesn't have a "guest network" or client isolation turned on for the printer.

If it still fails, print a Network Configuration / Wireless report from the printer menu and tell me the error it shows.
