Product: 400 G4 Sff
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so i bought an hp 400 g4 sff from ebay with the cpu the Intel Pentium G4400 processor

my question is can i upgrade it to the Intel Core i5-7500 processor without buying a new motherboard?

i don't want to break my desktop

and if can upgrade  can someone point me to a compatible cpu on ebay or amazon that would work for my desktop?

Pages 11 and 12 have the list of supported processors.

 

You can upgrade to the i5-7500 and even the i7-7700 if you want.

 

You can google either processor number on Amazon or eBay to find one at the best price.
