I understand the concern about the driver issues can be, and I’ll do my best to guide you through this. To help you more effectively, could you please share the exact HP laptop model you’re using, along with whether you’re trying to install the Bluetooth driver on Windows 7 or a different version of Windows? Also please note HP official support for Windows 7 ended in January 2020. 

 

In the meantime, here are a few steps you can try:

  • Check Windows Update: Sometimes Bluetooth drivers are automatically installed through updates.
  • Device Manager: Open Device Manager, locate the Bluetooth device (it may appear under “Other devices” if the driver isn’t installed), right-click, and select “Update Driver Software.”
  • HP Support Website: Visit HP’s official support page https://support.hp.com/ , enter your laptop model, and download the latest Bluetooth driver available for your operating system.
  • Realtek Driver: Since your hardware ID shows VID_0BDA (Realtek), you may also need to install the Realtek Bluetooth driver directly from the  website if HP website has no drivers listed for  Windows 7.
