Deskjet 2540 wireless printing not working with HP laptop

 

Can print from phone to printer, can print when connected to USB but can not wireless print from laptop 

 

says offline when it is not

Maybe this will help https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027988/windows-10-change-a-printers-status-from-offline-to... Try slso point 3 which is with multiple steps

thank you. I did that but now get an error when trying to print. says error printing.
