Hi,
Please help. I am trying to get blutooth to work on my Notebook. When I run Settings | Update & Security | Troubleshoot | Additional Troubleshooters| Bluetooth I get the following message:
Device does not have bluetooth
This device does not have bluetooth. Please try using an external adapter ...
I have installed the latest BIOS and bluetooth patches from
If I go to Settings | Devices | Bluetooth and other devices there is NO Bluetooth On/Off switch. If I then go to Add Bluetooth or other device | Bluetooth I get a Couldn't connect error message.
If I go to Device Manager| Network Adapters Bluetooth does not show up (already enable the hidden device).
Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs page for your notebook.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05301028
It does not come with built in bluetooth networking, or that feature would have been listed along with the 802.11b/g/n (1x1) (Miracast compatible), wireless connectivity specification.
Your notebook must have the Realtek RTL8188EE wifi adapter, which is wifi only, not a combination wifi/bluetooth adapter.
