Dear sir, 

iam unable to connect 5ghz wifi network

my current network adapter is Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n PCIe Adapter

one has suggested on the community to use 

  • Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1×1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) part # L17365-005Is this software or a hardware component.If this is a software kindly suggest me where to download

Hi:

 

You have to physically replace the Realtek RTL8723DE Wi-Fi adapter with the RTL8821CE Wi-Fi adapter.

 

Here is the info you need to remove and replace the Wi-Fi adapter:  Chapter 5.

Places you can buy the Wi-Fi card:

 

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

 

The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.

 

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express. 

 

I see some Intel 3165 cards listed on the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001.
