Hello

 

I would like to replace my current Wifi adapter i don't know beacuse it is not working by an newer Intel INTEL 7260HMW NB and I've read that the BIOS whitelist may cause problems.

 

How do I know whether the BIOS of my laptop is using a whitelist?

 

The model is HP Pavilion 4540s, serial number is [Personal Information Removed]

I cannot find any discussions where someone actually tried the Intel 7260 AC card in a 4540s.
