Hi,
I got an HP 250 G1
Product: H6Q66EA#ABU
Originally apprently come with windows 8, but now I got windows 10.
In theory this laptop have a combo wifi + bluethoot card. Also in theory this card support type N networks (5ghz)
but none of this is working. I suspect, is because windows is no reconizing the right drivers on the computer. I search and I try everything I could but nothing works...
I reinstall, and update the drivers, but still im getting this.
Also, just for test, I went back to windows 8 and I try to do it there, but I keep getting the same problems. I guess im using the wrong drivers. Any ideas what can I do?
At the moment windows is reconaizing the card as an Atheros AR5B93.
Thanks...
Some images of how windows view the card:

Hi, @st0nk
Your notebook has a single band wifi card.
There are some Wifi N cards that just work on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, and there are some that work on both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz wifi bands.
No dual band wifi cards were offered in the 250 g1 model series...see page 6 of the attachment.
You need this W10 driver for the hardware ID shown in your screenshot.
This package contains the driver installation package for the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 Series wireless LAN Controller in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

If it came with Bluetooth (not seen in your screenshot), you need this W10 BT driver...

Hi,
As you can see from the report, your notebook's WiFi card is only a single band model.
Any time you see that the WiFi card description ends in b g n, that means that it is a single bandWiFi adapter.
Dual band N adapters end with an a b g n description.
