You're very welcome.
HP doesn't always have the most updated drivers on all of the PC's support pages.
I happened to know that the 15-eg0000 model series has the newest driver on that model's support site.
Driver - HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0000 | HP® Customer Support
I used the same driver on my HP 255 G7 notebooks that have an older version of the driver on their support pages.
When it comes to Wifi cards you never have to worry what model PC they are installed on.
It would work on any HP desktop or notebook PC that has a Realtek wifi adapter (not only the RTL8822CE).
The driver is only concerned about the model of the wifi card, not the model of the PC.

Should I prefere not to install it?
It depends on your desire to perform this update, if you have a problem?
I've already seen some answers, for some it seems to improve if there is problem..
but for others, it has obviously little effect
You can try anyway, no particular risk
and you can go back quite easily if needed

Since the fan, probably has nothing to do with the wireless card, give it a try, but I doubt it will work miracles!
[edit]
if the fan runs at full speed and makes a lot of noise; it can be a problem of overheating, or of design!

Anytime.
Glad to have been of assistance.
I always keep the Realtek Wi-Fi drivers updated to the latest versions, because the Realtek AC (Wi-Fi 5) and AX (Wi-Fi 6) model Wi-Fi cards are known to have continuous problems with connectivity and whatnot.
Realtek is always releasing updated drivers to fix the problems and sometimes they fix the problems and sometimes they don't.
I don't understand why HP continues to use the Realtek Wi-Fi adapters in their PC's.
