Hi,

i am using  hp pavilion dv4 1114nr Entertainment notebook pc, just few day back i formatted and installed windows10 OS, since then my laptop was gotdown very slow and even browsing also its very slow and hanging even if the internet speed very fast. but recently i used windows10 and worked well, but now its not working after formatted and re installed

to make it proper functioning i need following drivers but my laptop is very old and drivers not available

• Chipset
• Graphics
• Network
• Audio

kindly help me how to solve or fix the issues.

Hi:

HP has retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

This reputable 3rd party driver site has the drivers HP used to supply for your PC:

HP Pavilion dv4-1114nr drivers

The model series was never supported by HP to run W10 and only W7 drivers are available.

W10 should automatically install the Intel graphics driver.  There would be no other driver that would work better.

You can try this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook in the chance it may work on yours:

IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver

The parts list indicates the notebook comes with the Broadcom 4312 Wi-Fi adapter for which no W10 driver exists.

HP PartSurfer

You can try this W8.1 driver in the remote chance it may work.

If you have a way to reinstall W7, my advice to you would be to do that.

I am bit confusing to select which type of drivers are suitable for as per my laptop model, kindly suggest me which one i have to select for chiptset, network, grapshic, audio, etc........

I have already explained to you that there are no W10 drivers.

I suggest that you just leave the drivers that W10 installed as they are and I already gave you the W10 audio and W8.1 wireless drivers.

If they don't work, you will have to reinstall W7.
