Hello i using HP Elitebook 8560w . im dj and music producer.
I have problem with WiFI Adapter-a. I have big latency with network wifi drivers.
I guess the model and the drivers are so.
Please tell me what cards the laptop supports??
Because not everyone is leaving. BIOS say they are not supported.
My Bios is updated to F.63 Rev.A 2016.

Hi:
The only supported wifi cards are the ones listed in chapter 3 of the service manual for your mobile workstation.

You probably already have the best one HP offered in that model.
No other cards will work and they must have the HP part number on them that is shown in the service manual.

Hi, Thank you very much for the answer.
You tell me that I can only put only 3 wifi cards?
Intel Centrino Advanced N 6205, 2x2 a/b/g/n WiFi Adapter 631954-001
Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 802.11 3x3 a/g/n WiFi Adapter 572511-001
Atheros 802.11 3x3 a/g/n WiFI Adapter 630435-001
Why can not others? What is the logic? Why all other models are blocked?
Why this Wifi makes such a latency and audio drops.. Workstation is one of the best machines to work right?

You're very welcome.
Actually, the last two you listed won't work because they require 3 antenna cables, and your model only has two.
I don't work for or represent HP, so I have no idea why they use a BIOS whitelist to prevent the installation of other cards.
It probably has to do with enforcement of FCC rules, and the wireless communications equipment rules of other countries regarding SAR testing of wireless equipment.
You can see the US government requirements for SAR testing wireless equipment at the link below.

You're very welcome.
Either that, or you would have to reinstall W7 - W8.1 for the internal wifi equipment to work correctly.
I'm assuming you have tried the latest wifi drivers for the Intel 6205 wifi card from Intel?

Hello.
I tried with Win 7 Pro (with original key)(Full Updated with Windows Update). The problem was even bigger and the computer worked even worse. Driver Problems .. I had to install on old drivers. I have to try all versions to see which works better...Мaybe the problem is that I do not have to upgrade windows but there is no way.
With Win 10 Pro works relatively well, but not properly.
