Product: HP EliteBook 745 G5 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I just purchased this Elitlebook for mobile business work. The laptop was posted online as to having an operating Sim Card slot. However, it does not work. What can be done to get this driver to operate as intended?

Hi @Hailey-Bailey 

 

All of them have a SIM slot, but not all of them have the internal SIM module, if the seller did not request from the factory that module is not installed,

 

then it is easy to check between networks and see if you have one of these modules, if you do not have them you do not have WWAN.

I opened up the back cover of the elite book, integrated into the motherboard is a physical slot for the sim card slot. What else should I be looking for as far as the physical driver?

As I said, do they all have a slot. Does the WWAN card have one next to the Wi-Fi card? Surely not?
