I have an Elitebook 8460p bought second hand. It had been upgraded to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. I would like to enable mobile data via the built in similar slot. Can someone advise if this is possible with W10 and if it is what drivers are suitable and how do you go about it. Thanks Pietero

WWAN is an option. Do you know it does have this option or not ? Without this option you can't use data mobile, you can buy an external dongle and please check with your mobile provider.

Hello banhien,

Thank you for your help.

My 8460p does have weaning. There is a SIM card slot in the battery compartment.

Does this information help you

HP hs2340HPSA +  Mobile Broadband Module

IMEI 325056040617348

My 8640p was upgraded to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit before I bought it. The only drivers I can find for setting up the mobile data are for Windows 7 or 8. I would like to keep Windows 10 if possible and not have to reformat to install Windows 7 again.

Regards

Pietero
