My wireless network connection is turned off continiously.
I have tried almost everything I could find on the internet such as:
1. installing again, Windows 7, 64-bit Ultimate on it.
2. Checking my BIOS for wireless adapter is disabled BUT ITS NOT.
-
3 Using the troubleshooter it says Wireless capability is turned off.
-
4. Uninstalled & re-installed the the latest Ralink driver obtained from manufacturer's site.
5. Un-checked the option under Power management saying ALLOW PC TO TURN OFF THIS DEVICE TO SAVE POWER.
-
6. My Windows mobility center's toggle button for wireless gets just grayed out when I restart my PC. (otherwise it is working)
-
7. My laptop doesnot have a wireless toggle button.

Finally, I installed windows 10, 64-bit on my laptop.
To my surprise my laptop Wi-Fi signals appeared immediately. Even the Wi-Fi key is working fine and turning Wi-Fi on and off when I press it.
So, after much troubleshooting the problem is finally RESOLVED and I am happy.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the HP connection manager, restart the PC and see if you can turn on the wifi using the connection manager software.
This package provides the HP Connection Manager for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

I appreciate that Paul.
I too assumed that "it could be a hardware issue" but device manager is detecting my Network controller and also updating/installing the required Ralink Drivers for this Hardware. It means wifi adapter is working fine.
Any Other suggestion will be highly Appreciated.
