HP Notebook 15-bs031wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop connects to the internet through the wi-fi and few minutes later the wi-fi is still connected, but the internet is unavailable. When I check the network through HP's diagonstic tools I get the following message:

The connection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the Internet is broken. The network gateway is accessible, but Windows cannot receive network traffic from the Internet. If I disconnect and reconnect, the internet is  available again, for a few minutes

This has happened occasionally in the past, both at home and on other networks, but now is a constast problem.

Every other computer/device works beautifully on the home wi-fi.

Does my laptop need to be serviced? Or is there a fix? I have already updated drivers and reset the computer.

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Do you have other devices that are connected to your wireless network? Do they work?

Try connecting the Ethernet cable and check if you are able to go online wired

Also follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06282875 and let me know how it goes

Thank you
