Ethernet Options Not Available

HP Recommended
HP Spectre x360-13-4013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In settings there is no options for ethernet. I bought usb ethernet adapter to connect my ethernet cable, since my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port. The adapter works on my friend laptop so the adapter works. Their laptop recognizes the adapter when it's plugged in and brings up an ethernet tab but my laptop shows no signs of connectivity. It does NOT have RJ45 (Ethernet) option. If you wish, you can use the following adapter

I actually use it and I have 2 more USB 3.0 ports.

Banhien thank you, but I do already have an ethernet adapter but my laptop is not reading it or showing it have drivers for ethernet connection.
