HP Recommended

Hi,
my computer is an old HP 655 Notebook PC which i set up with Windows 10 Home 1903 from scratch.
Ethernet didn't work. I read a lot and could help myself.
What helped:
I downgraded the BIOS from F.29 to F.27.
I plugged the Ethernet cable in and made a restart.
Ethernet worked, and i could uncheck the energy saving option in the device manager.
Restart.
Till then all is working fine, even the old Windows certificated drivers.
I did not install any Windows 8 drivers from the HP Homepage but let Windows do the job. It worked.
