Hi @saiprasadbhi

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fc0000 is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Troubleshooting Steps:

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your laptop, router, and modem.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then turn them back on in this order: modem, router, and laptop.

Check Wi-Fi Adapter Settings:

  • Open Device Manager (press Windows + X and select "Device Manager").
  • Expand Network Adapters and ensure your Wi-Fi adapter is enabled.
  • Right-click the adapter, select Properties, and check for any error messages under the "General" tab.

Update Wi-Fi Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers for your laptop model.

Run Windows Network Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Troubleshoot.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix connectivity issues.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Open Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.
  • Restart your laptop after the reset.

Assign a Static IP Address:

  • Access your router's settings and assign a static IP address to your laptop. This can prevent connection drops.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure your laptop is within range of the router and avoid placing it near devices that might interfere with the Wi-Fi signal, such as microwaves or cordless phones.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
