HP Envy 17 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've updated to Windows 10 Fall Creators Home Edition (1709 version) and since then I've had a lot of problems.

The main of these, for me, which is most annoying is that I no longer connect to my Smart TV Samsung: when I press the Connect button: Windows sees the TV for the connection, but after a long wait, and giving permission on the TV to connect my notebook, in the notification area I see the message: "There is a problem. You can not connect the screen. ".

I also did "Install from zero" through Windows Defender Security Center and lots other drivers solutions, HP Support Assistant installation, and so on.

Tips?

Thank you.

P.S.

Sorry for the mistakes. but my language is not English.

Hi

A possible cause/reason is because the Firewall has had changes made to it in the background,  the Firewall has new settings that are the problem.

Possible solution....

Windows Defender Security Centre;

Restore Firewall to Default;

Then running the Network Troubleshooter .

Hi clint_flick,

Thank you! Thank you!

All solved!

I have always thought, and I will continue to think so, that those who really know things will solve the problems in a simple and intelligent way.

You, dear clint_flick, you belong to this category of people.

Thanks again.
