HP Probook 4545s
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Probook 4545s notebook.

I made a few upgrades: replace A6 processor with A8, 8 Mb RAM dual channels, a SSD disk.

I want a better Wi-Fi card. I change original Wi-Fi card Atheros AR9485 (675794-001) with a Atheros AR9565  (690019-001) but is a same transfer rate 150 mbs (N150). On download speed test is 107mb/s.

My router is Asus RT-N18U and my internet speed provider is 300 mbs. On LAN card speed at download is 290 mbs.

I want to change my wifi card with faster card, with N300 ( rate transfer 300).

What faster wifi cards is suitable with my HP Probook 4545s?

Thank You

Only one 300 mbps card is offered, it is an "N" dual banc dual channel card so can work under N300 protocol.

Atheros AR9462 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 Bluetooth 4.0 Combo 676786-001

It is available on amazon.com:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B009SOH9HG/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all

https://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Atheros-AR9462-PCI-Express-replacemnet/dp/B00UFQ5ANQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=el...

Here is the spec sheet on it so you can see this is a 300mbps card:

https://www.digchip.com/datasheets/5483679-ar9462-qualcomm-atheros-xspan.html

The other Atheros cards you have tried are 1 x 1 cards and "N" single threaded is 150 mbps.

Your laptop does have the HP whitelist but as long as you buy a version with the HP Part number you will be OK.

Thank you for your response. I find in my country  Atheros AR5B22, it is the same like that  AR9462?

Because in your second Amazon link:  “Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 AR5B22 WB222 Half Mini PCIe PCI-Express WLAN Wifi Wireless Bluetooth BT Card replacemnet for HP Compaq 676690 676786-001”

Thank you

Got to be an HP Part number. Another card with the same chip and not an HP part will not work. The laptop will refuse to boot. What is "your country"?
