Hi All,

I have a 2 G5 Docks, one for work and one for home. I bring the same computer home and work.

The work dock unit seems to be fine but the home unit will not allow internet through to my laptop via Thunderbolt cable.

When I plug the network cable directly into the computer, it works fine. At the moment I have a small switch with one cable going to the G5 and one cable going to the network port on the computer, it's only recognizing the built in port connection. See below. Ethernet 5 is what comes through the thunderbolt cable from the G5. If I remove the cable from the built in port and use only the thunderbolt cable, it will just show Ethernet 5 as no internet. See bottom.

The network port on the G5 does show green connection light with random flashing orange activity light.

The G5, does work fine providing extra video output and keyboard and mouse access.

Once again, this same connection configuration works fine at work.

Thanks for any ideas.
