Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Google Chrome browser is not connecting to the internet. I've tried contacting Google about the issue but they said that since the issue is only present in my laptop, I need to contact HP. All other browsers work and internet works with all other devices, just Google Chrome that is the issue. Started happening yesterday evening (11/29/2020) after I came back from living at a friends for 2 weeks and having been connected to their internet the whole time. Google worked just fine then, but when I came home it refused to work. Error "ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED" keeps coming up. I've tried restarting my laptop, deleting and redownloading Google Chrome, Restarting my Wi-Fi router, deleting all the cache on Google, this solution - [content removed], and nothing has worked. Please help!
