Every ZBook 14U G6 has a SIM card slot.
Your notebook does not have the optional and expensive WWAN adapter that is needed to connect to the cellular network.
All the SIM card does is authorize you to use your cellular provider's network.
In order for the SIM card to work, your notebook must have one of these WWAN adapters appearing in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category:
Intel XMM 7262 LTE-Advanced
Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced
Intel XMM 7560 LTE-Advanced

I wouldn't be able to help you with that because on some models you can and some you can't.
This discussion shows where someone tried to add a supported WWAN card in a similar model and it didn't work.

Chapter 1 of your notebook indicates that there is aftermarket support for WWAN cards.
Chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual lists the supported WWAN adapters with their HP part numbers.

Since this is a peer-to-peer forum and we don't work for or represent HP, I recommend that you contact HP customer service and see if it can be done aftermarket.
