Hi there,

Just wondering is anyone who has the same laptop model as mine, changed their wifi card to a dual band card ?

I think my current card is failing, not sure wifi or the bluetooth module having problem because I noticed my bluetooth mouse getting disconnected intermittently. tried a few mouse in fact but still the same.

other than  bluetooth, connection is a bit sluggish on wifi. so i'm planning to change the card once and for all. I know USB dongles can be easily found everywhere but i prefer not to waste the usb port.

My laptop model is

HP 15-r208TX / Model: K8U86PA#UUF

Thank you in advance! 😃

Hi there,

Thanks for the response.

However, I've already seen the service manual prior to opening this thread.

The listed hardwares isn't what I'm looking for. In fact those you've listed isn't dual band cards.

What I am looking for is cards that is compatible with the laptop model that I own.

Reason is that the original card is failing and I would prefer a dual band replacement.

@melzisme,

As informed earlier a dual-band wireless card is not tested on your computer by HP. However, you can install any dual-band wireless card (WIth the same form factor) on the computer at your own discretion:

Cheers!
